Winter Scarf Swap
I am doing the Winter Scarf Swap on Craftster, and I have sent, and Rhymesworange has received her scarf. I have sent her a lovely 3 shaded purple crocheted scarf. It's done in the "rope stitch" which looks a lot like the "v" stitch to me.
It's the rope stitch:
Foundation: multiple of 3 chains plus 3 (make as many as needed)
row 1: 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, ch 1, 1 dc in next ch, *skip 1 ch, 1 dc in next ch, ch 1, 1 dc in next ch; repeat from * to last ch, 1 dc in last ch, turn.
Row 2: ch 3, skip first 2 dc, * [1 dc, ch, 1 dc] in 1-ch-sp, skip 2 dc; repeat from * ending skip last dc, 1 dc in 3rd of 3-ch, turn.
Repeat row 2. (as many as needed)
Fasten off yarn.
I received this lovely infinity scarf and wrist warmer set from RhymeswithOrange! I love the colors and the stitching! She also sent me some hand spun yarn! :) I was spoiled!
4x6 Art Swap Rd 6
Yes! The new year has started, and my newest edition to the 4x6 Art Swap is on it's way to it's new owner. I will udpate my art, and what I receive as it happens.
I received from Belladune!
This is such a different technique from anything I have received in a swap to date. The clouds are sheep wool. Some of the yarns are her own hand spun, and other is commercial yarn.
And the piece I made for Belladune....from my most favorite show...Big Bang Theory....Sing Me Soft Kitty!

Triple Versus Swap: kbrison
Kbrison and I have swapped before in the Falling For Autumn Swap I organized last Fall. She is so wonderful, and she's stepped in to be my co-organizer! Win!
She's received her hoop---
I knew this would be the perfect hoop for her when I saw this quote on her Pinterest. She's become a good Craftster friend, since we were partnered in the Falling for Autumn Swap.

I sent to mama24boyz. She had this quote on her Pinterest and knew I had to stitch this up.
Triple Versus: Mrs. Awesome_Pants
I sent to Mrs. Awesome _Pants. She wanted something from the book/tv series Game of Thrones. I made her the house of Targaryean symbol:
She is a yarn partner :) It's still early so she hasn't sent yet.

Triple Versus Swap
I'm organizing a Triple Versus Swap on Craftster. That means, you get paired with two other people. You send one craft to each partner, and they send a different type of craft to you.
This Triple Versus Swap is sewing vs yarn (crochet/knit) vs hoopla (embroider/x-stitch).
I am doing embroidery, and since I was short one hoopla maker, I am in two groups...sending and receiving from 4 people.
I have sent out all 4 of my hoops, and two have been received. To make this much easier, I am going to create a new post for each partner.
