I've been wanting to make this hoop for a while, and I finally got around to doing it. It's about 4" and, I tried my hand at beading on the hoop. Each yellow bead is individually hand sewn. I used the chain stitch on the stem and to fill it in. I used the back stitch on the lettering.
It's inspired by the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. The dandelion being very significant to Katniss about Peeta, and the word, Real, to simply answer the question "Real or Not Real."
I love it. I haven't had the chance to close off the back yet, but I love how it turned out.
